About

Hi, I’m Tim Mackenzie.  I am a software engineer that escaped the cubicle world at a large company to go solo with Android app development, research, and consulting.

My attention to detail and quality applies both to my apps and to my research on how to make money with Android. Now that I have the freedom to work on my own projects, I am documenting my efforts in the hopes that it will help other current or aspiring independent Android developers get the income they desire.

About the ProjectJourneyman site name – this blog started as documentation of my various projects in the hopes that it would both inspire others to take on things in need of work in their own life, as well as to provide help to those engaged in the very same pursuits.  Nominally, that would make me a Journeyman of Projects – able to perform as well as guide, but not a guru at the end of learning.  While the generic nature of “Projects” was purposeful to allow going anywhere, this site now shows my focus on Android.
